Tonging

Tonging focuses on developing fine motor skills, concentration, and hand-eye coordination while promoting independence and logical thinking. Students are provided with a variety of materials, such as small balls, buttons, or pompoms, along with a pair of child-sized tongs or tweezers. Their task is to use the tongs to carefully pick up the objects one by one and transfer them to a designated container. This activity not only enhances children’s dexterity and precision, but also encourages them to focus, plan their movements, and exercise self-control. Through Tonging , students develop essential skills for everyday tasks while fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.
