Jourdan
Dir. of Childcare Administration

Jourdan is a lifelong learner and educator with over ten years of experience in the field of education, the last five of which have been in an administrative capacity. She holds a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Woman’s University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Special Education from Drexel University.

Jourdan believes that every student has infinite potential and that it is a school’s job to cultivate it. She learned early on in her career that an educator’s role is first and foremost to act as a mentor and guide which is a lesson she holds close to her heart thus allowing her to lead with empathy in all her interactions with students, parents, and fellow staff.

Jourdan is passionate about building community and has been recognized for work within the refugee community, applying for and receiving grants specifically geared toward bringing educational enrichment to refugee families who would not otherwise have access. She is honored to bring her passion for educating, creating, and togetherness to the GLMS Community.

In her free time Jourdan enjoys spending time by the water, reading, writing poetry, and watching true crime documentaries.
